I was going to wait till I have next two pages of DD ready and upload this along with them... Buut I got too excited. (plus some other people might be interested in this group too). So yeah, I just can't seem to stay away from animal crossing groups.... eheheehee..... Okay, back to DD pages. (also, new shading style?!)

Animal: Golden Mantled Tamarin

Mico is full of energy like a barrel of monkeys and enthusiastic about almost anything. You don't need a big reason to make him excited. Big or small adventure, this monkey is in 100%. Mico has a very positive and care free view on life and it is hard to bring his mood down. He can't stand moping and always tries to cheer up those who are feeling sad (whether it is successful or not is another story). Mico is very confident and doesn't turn down any challenges, especially sport challenges. Mico is a full extrovert and loves the company of other people/animals. He gets bored easily if he is alone.

Unfortunately in his excitement, Mico tends to act impulsively and do before thinking. This sometimes leads to his failure unlike if he had took his time to think things through carefully. Mico is also very impatient and hates waiting. It's hard for him to sit still over 5 minutes. He would honestly go out and play some sport rather than sit down and have a game of chess. Mico is also a bit crude and doesn't really care nor understand certain things. He hasn't had a lot interaction outside of his family so some ways and customs may be foreign to him. Fashion is totally confusing concept to him along with comb. He is not really intellectually smart but that does not bother him since he prefers simple things and simple (but exciting) life style. He is also very honest and will say exactly what he thinks. This can come of as rude to some but he honestly doesn't mean ill will. He just never went to "good manners" school and doesn't know that sometimes little white lies are a good thing.

History:

Mico comes from a big family of six siblings and his parents. Whole family lived a simple life on country side, in a forest. They weren't that rich and their father earned their living by farming and fishing. Mico, being the oldest of the siblings, took responsibility and helped his father every day. Due to this, he had never time to go to school. But Mico didn't care, school sounded boring anyway. Who wanted to sit in a stuffy room all day? No way! Sure, working at home was rough but Mico had learned to appreciated honest hard work. His siblings also looked up to him too so he had no complaints.

But as Mico got older, his desire to see and travel around the world grew too. There were barely any neighbors and Mico had already explored most of the area he lived in. He had expressed this desire to his parents but they didn't have enough money to pay Mico's traveling expenses. Mico was disappointed but understood the situation. But one day, a frilled lizard had gotten lost in his home forest and Mico had found him. The lizard was hungry and tired so Mico took him in his home. Mico's family took good care of the frilled lizard who was grateful. The lizard introduced himself as Maxwell Perdido and told he was a treasure hunter who had came there to find a hidden civilization and treasures. He had even bought a map! Mico's parents laughed and told him that someone had fooled him and there were no hidden civilizations in the area. Maxwell was disappointed. He thanked them again for the hospitality and told them he would leave tomorrow and travel to another country. This is when Mico's ears perked up and he begged he could come with Maxwell and travel with him. At first Maxwell wasn't sure about it but thought it was the least he could do after the family had helped him. He agreed to take the young monkey with him. Mico was ecstatic.

Next day he said his farewells to his parents and siblings, promised he would write back. He told second oldest of his brothers that he was now in charge and left with Maxwell. He took Mico to a harbor and they set sail. Mico traveled with Maxwell for 6 months and during that time he learned a lot from him tho he never understood Maxwell's fixation to treasures and fame. Maxwell even helped Mico to learn how to read a bit (by making him read treasure maps). But after six months, they were financially broke and the lizard couldn't sponsor them both anymore. It was time for them to split up. Mico thanked Maxwell for all that he had done and taught him. As a last gift, Maxwell told him about a town he had visited long time ago. Maybe Mico could move in there? Mico thanked him yet again. Twosome split up and Mico's road lead now to a town called Hemlock. He was ready start his own life.

• His name is a genus for new world monkeys of the family Callitrichidae that includes marmosets and tamarins.
• Mico never went to any school. He can read some simple texts but give him a huge book with fancy words and you can be sure he will throw it away.
• Being a jock, he enjoys any sorts of exercises. His strength is in climbing and gymnastics. He is very agile. Swimming is something he needs to practice tho.
• He also has an uchi side as he acts like a big brother to others but he won't sugar coat his words.
• Even tho he is a monkey, he is actually allergic to bananas.
• Pear is his favourite fruit.
• He is about 18 or 19 years old.
• The bells on his tail don't have anything inside so they don't jingle.
