Hey guys! Remember this cutie?While I am no longer in Pokemonation, I have not forgot about this guy. Yesterday someone asked me about fakemons in tumblr and I wanted to draw this guy again.
So yeah, my bug type eeveelution! I got some great name suggestions at tumblr. Lepideon was suggested a few times and I really like the name. It comes from the word "lepidoptera" that's a large order of insects that include moths and butterflies.
The design is based on luna moth.
Lepideon belongs to me! And Nintendo if they ever wanted to make this real lol
Edit: Okay! I was pretty happy with the antennae design so I edited this version. (and compound eyes that I completely forgot the first time) I think they are keepers. ;D

Looks amazing! I really want to see this as the bug type eeveelution in the anime (if they're going to have a bug type). do you think eventually, there's going to be one eeveelution for each type? that would make eevee the most versatile pokemon there is.

It will take a while but pokemon is not gonna stop as long as it keeps making money so yeah, I think we will see eveelution of every type.

Nice design! That pretty cool! Like how the name is even a reference to moths and butterflies, rather than just the pokemon's design.

Thanks but I just wasn't feeling it anymore. It got too big, In many ways. It was hard and stressful to keep up with my own pokemon. Keep up with clutches I had to draw etc.

I would LOVE the bug-type to based off a Luna Moth! It' so pretty yet dangerous and elegant... yeah. If this were real I might have two Eeveelutions on my official team.

I would so much love it if they made it official! They really should take some ideas from their fans, like Digimon does, especially with some dumb new designs, something fresh would be great!

I didn't say that new designs are dumb, I said there are few new designs that are dumb (there are also dumb old designs, but still). Actually I'm great fan of 5th and 6th generation and I love most pokes there with all my heart, but after some thinking I can see why people hate the fifth gen so much - as much as I love it there are really some uncreative designs there among many awesome Pokes and I personally find it really shameful that I see great amount of fakemons being much more creative and pretty design-wise than originals.
I really couldn't care less if you do more fakemon or not, so seriously chill - it's your choice and you should have fun doing it.

I still don't agree here. I can see something positive in every single pokemon and each of them are unique in some way. Yes, event the ice cream and trash pokemon are cool and awesome to me.
And I'm gonna be honest, I've seen only a few fakemons that have really made me go "that should be a pokemon".
And yes, it is my choice and it's not fun when I get comments like that. It's not a compliment to me.

That is nice to know because they seem to be always the case subjects when criticizing gen 5.
But the point stands, I love every single canon pokemon a lot and while I have seen some great fakemons, I would never change a single canon pokemon for one even if I had the chance.

Ahhh this cutie!! I remember them; they were always one of my favorite Nation pokes because of the beautiful ear wings >u< It's great seeing this design again!
years ago I made a bug-type eeveelution of my own... it was based off a gum moth, so it wasn't this elegant xD I guess I really want a bug eeveelution too! Here's to Game Freak actually giving us one soon!!
