Hey guys! Remember this cutie?While I am no longer in Pokemonation, I have not forgot about this guy. Yesterday someone asked me about fakemons in tumblr and I wanted to draw this guy again.
So yeah, my bug type eeveelution! I got some great name suggestions at tumblr. Lepideon was suggested a few times and I really like the name. It comes from the word "lepidoptera" that's a large order of insects that include moths and butterflies.
The design is based on luna moth.
Lepideon belongs to me! And Nintendo if they ever wanted to make this real lol
Edit: Okay! I was pretty happy with the antennae design so I edited this version. (and compound eyes that I completely forgot the first time) I think they are keepers. ;D

*googles* Aah, not as pretty colors as luna moth yeah... XD But yeah, I really hope we'll get a bug eevee and it will be either a moth or bumblebee (so fluffy!)
I hope for a moth because someone gave me such an ADORABLE idea involving this guy and light sources and I want to see it legit in pokemon.... XD

I did like the brown and purple accents, but that was just my personal color preference xD I actually based the shiny colors off a luna moth, but Lepideon pulls it off better. Motheon wasn't made for green. Also it would be a green shiny, like we need more of those
Ooh, that is a cute idea! I'd love to see a moth eeveelution sometime, but honestly I'm sure they'll make a bug evolution that we'll like! They haven't made an eevelution I disliked yet, knock on wood gosh I hope I didn't jinx it what did I do

Fantastic design and great choice using white as TE main color! There wasn't been an eeveelution with mostly white so it makes it look more legit.

Looks better than all of the Gen VI Pokemon. Too bad Gamefreak has lost the creative edge to make something like this Lepideon or that "Flitteon" idea.

I REALLY can't agree there. I happen to love pretty much all Gen 6 pokemon and I am only sad they didn't make as much of them as in other gens! :C

I didn't say I didn't like them, just said that your designs happens to look better than them. However their incredibly low number is likely due to all the Mega Evos, although Mega Evos like Heracross, Pinsir and Slowbro really bust my grits. But agree to disagree. Anyway keep up the great work!

Bug is my second favorite pokemon type, and this has to be one of my favoirte bug-eevees i've seen on here, i was wondering if it would be okay with you if i tried to make a Lepideon sprite? I would credit you, being that it is your brilliant designe~
(I dont edit existing sprites or trace drawings unlike other people.. I dont loke ot when people do that..)

I've always wondered what insect would look best as a bug-type Eeveelution. I'm surprised I didn't think a moth would be a perfect fit for it! A Luna Moth especially. Either way, that looks super rad and fluffy! :D Nice work!!

My idea of the bug eon was they are in symbiosis / infested by ants and wasps and the shape would be a eevee or flareon full of holes and the dexter entry said: the autopsies revealed that the queens of the insects are fused with the brain of the pokemon
