Description

RGB looked outside. All he could see was mushrooms around him, above him and even under him on the road. He hated it. The spores were tickling his nose and he had to fight not to sneeze. The kecleon pulled his head straight back inside the wagon and looked behind him. He was not alone.

With him were a poochyena and a gligar, whom he had not met before but had introduced themselves as Doc and Carl respectively. And then there was Mani, the apprentice of merchant guild with high work morale. RGB didn’t like his high work morale.

The squirtle was talking to the other pokemon and not paying attention to what RGB was doing. The kecleon shifted his eyes inside the wagon, hungrily but inconspicuously observing the loot they were protecting. Quintin, the deino had mentioned the supplies in these front wagons were in a dire need for defending. RGB raised his eyebrow. What was really so important?

The kecleon carefully used his tail to pick up one map and moved it into his hands. He opened it quietly and managed to get a quick glimpse of the map.

“Sir! I must ask you to put that map down where you got it!”

Mani had caught him. Oh boy RGB hated this kid’s high work morale. He took a deep breath to calm down, placed the map down and put his best fake sincere smile on before turning around.

“But Mani my dearest child, I simply wish to know what I am, and these fine pokemon, are risking our lives for.”

RGB opened his mouth and gently gestured towards the poochyena and gligar. He was hoping to get them on his side.

“It does not matter. You work for the merchants and Mr. Quintin ordered you to look after these supplies. That is all you need to know.”

Mani countered and stood firmly. RGB’s face didn’t flinch an inch but he had a mental imagine of a turtle soup. Carl and Doc just looked at each other, wisely staying out of this one.

“But…KEEECK!”

RGB opened his mouth and was going to continue pursuing but the wagon stopped suddenly and they all lost their balance. RGB’s face got smacked on the wooden floor and he could hear everything moving and falling inside the wagon.

“What was that?”

The gligar asked when they had recovered from the sudden halt. They could hear the ponyta who had pulled their wagon neigh outside. This was not good.

“Surrender! We have you surrounded!”

Yep, this was not good.

“It’s the raiders.” Doc whispered.

“What are we going to do?” Carl asked.

“It sounds like we’re outnumbered. What happened to the others? Did they take them out?”

RGB caught a hint of panic in Mani’s voice. Heh, that made him smile smugly. But now was not the time to savor the feeling of other pokemon losing their composure. He had to act quickly.

“If you don’t come out, we’ll come get you!” They heard another shout.

“Quickly! You still have those blast and blinker seeds Quintin gave us?” RGB turned to his companions and whispered.

“Yes but…” Mani whispered.

“Good! Give them to me and give me that bag! Hide the supplies.” RGB ordered them.

“Hey, who made you the boss?” Doc asked. Mani seemed to agree with her.

“Just do it!”

RGB snapped as quietly as you could in this situation and hissed. The other three pokemon hastily exchanged gazes, looking if any of them had any other ideas. There was none so they had no choice but to trust the kecleon.

“I found more blast seeds.” Carl said and brought them to RGB.

“Excellent…”

RGB whispered as he bagged the seeds while the others were hiding the supplies under blankets.

“Time’s up! We’re coming!” Was suddenly heard outside.

RGB jumped in front of everyone as they stared at the opening between wagon’s sheets. Suddenly, a small orange paw appeared.

“Ha! Give us your loot and no one gets hurt.” A little buizel girl ordered them.

RGB grimaced. It felt like an insult to be threatened by this fluffy water rat but she was not alone so resistance was not in question. RGB forced the ugly frown away and put on his desperate act.

“Curse you raiders. You got us this time. Here is all we have. It’s not much but be careful, the content will blow your mind.”

He acted in his best skill and it seemed to work.

“Alright! Hey guys! I got it!”

The buizel girl picked up the bag and dragged it with her. RGB turned to other merchants and smirked.

“I scratched one of the seeds. The bag will blow up even with the slightest of bumps.” He whispered. “They just need to get a bit farther away from us…”

“Hey Dan! Help me with this!”

The buizel girls shouted, peeked outside the wagon and hung the bag in air, swinging it. All merchants’ hearts skipped a beat.

“Be careful with that Skyler. We don’t want to break anything.”

A slowpoke, assumingly buizel’s partner replied. The merchants sighted quietly. The raiders managed to lower the bag on the ground safely.

“All right! Let’s go!” One of the raiders shouted. RGB turned back to merchants and grinned. The plan was working.

“NOT SO FAST!”

“Oh for the love of everything that is pure and sacred…”

RGB whispered and his eyes became reddish. Why did he have to come here right now? The kecleon dashed to the edge of the wagon and peeked outside. Yep, just as he had expected, Danny was there.

“RGB, you assbag! I am disappointed how you are just going to let these raiders steal from you.”

Danny shouted. He was clearly enjoying this. Thinking his partner had made a mistake and here he was to make things right.

“No… No…” RGB whispered.

“It is a good thing I came back, since it looks like I have to save the day once again.”

Danny smirked and the dark shadowy claws extended from his hands once again. He was about to leap and grab the bag.

“No! No… NO YOU BLOODY STUPID…!”

RGB screamed but too late. The buizel shrieked and threw the bag in air and ran out of the way. Just in time as the bag fell on the ground and Danny’s claw sunk into it.

There was a second if silence. RGB evaluated his life choices.

KABOOM!!!

The bag exploded. The wave of the explosion was enough to damage the wagon and it moved ahead thanks to the aftershock. The wagon smashed on the ground. RGB and the other merchants had fallen thanks to the explosion and its impact.

RGB rose up and rubbed his eyes. He had been exposed to the affect of blinker seeds and he was temporarily blind.

“What’s going on?!”

He shouted while furiously rubbing his eyes.

“The raiders are running away! The explosion must have scared them away.” Carl looked outside and reported.

“Good… What about that rock munching piece of shit…?”

RGB murmured as he was finally able to see again and stepped outside. Indeed, he didn’t see any of the raiders around. In front of him was black grass, a small hole and inside that hole was the familiar purple gremlin. RGB sneered at the poor sight and walked to him. He examined the sableye and poked his head with his feet.

“So… What was that about me being an assbag?” RGB asked calmly.

“It…hurts…to…talk…” Danny murmured against the ground. He had no strength to raise his head.

“MhhMM… And whose fault is that? Who is the true assbag here?”

“…..Me.”

“Glad we have an agreement here, NOW GET UP!”

RGB chuckled before snapping and walking away from the sableye that still didn’t show any signs of moving other than his mouth. The kecleon walked to Mani and the others. The squirtle was examining the damage on the wagon. Some wood from the back was broken.

“Well… At least we drove away the raiders.” RGB tried to shine some light into the situation. “And nothing got stolen.”

“Save your words. Your plan worked but it put us all in danger. I will report about this to Mr. Quintin and he will decide what to do with you two. Let’s move!”

Mani ordered and walked to front and make sure the ponyta was alright and capable to continue. Dang did RGB hate this kid's high work morale. The kecleon sighted and hold his head.

Meanwhile Danny had managed to rise up and crawls next to him. He was shaking and was barely standing.

“What… now?” Danny managed to gasp.

“I don’t know. We certainly made an impression on the merchants. And not necessarily in a good way...” RGB murmured and moved his face to Danny. The sableye’s face was black from smutch. The kecleon grimaced.

“Ugh… I can’t believe it but your face looks even worse.”
Danny responded by making the same rude hand gesture the kecleon had missed earlier and fell on the ground again. RGB snorted amusingly but finally picked up the unconscious sableye and carried him to the wagon. He hated the bastard but there was no way he was gonna leave him behind. He still owed him money. And the kecleon was planning to add the possible wagon repay bill to Danny’s tab.

Haha! And here we go. Team Blue Moon's mission 0 entry is done. The last part is long but I didn't know where to cut it so I kept it all here. And man I enjoy writing RGB and Danny. And their mission wasn't a complete success. I am sure the merchants don't appreciate them damaging their property. We'll have to see how this continues. ;D
