I've always loved RD, and the characters are brilliant. They inspired chagnes to my chars in a few ways...
Elizabeth made me make my Luxray (Rasren) speak with a German accent and be a liiitle bit pessimistic. Danny made my Vespiqueen (Cherubee) a playful thief. Merry made my Rotom (Sparcz) like to be called a girl. Vincent inspired one of my Sneasels' backstory (Nyurio).

I have like five or six of them. How I got so many without cheating? You can use PokeRadar to catch shinies. It's a long thing to explain but there are guides in Game FAQs.

There are three different kind of grass rustling, normal, sparkling and shiny (you can't miss the shiny one). in order to make shinies appear, you have to battle same pokemon over and over again. I recomend to read the guides to see how that is done.

Yes, always choose the patch which is four tiles away from you. And use max repels to keep other wild pokemon away. And... Awoid edges and especially corners. They seem to cancel the chain.

urrgh... SO COMFUSING!!! Lemme get this strait:

*Same pokemon OVER AND OVER
*NO CORNERS
*PokeRadar
*shiny/sparkely grass patch???

Pretty much... After seeing the same pokemon about 40 times (the poketech number 20 shows your current chain) you have a 1/200 chance to see a shiny patch so then you keep using repels and you just keep using the pokeradar until you see the patch that contains shiny pokemon (like I said, you can't miss it).

Heh, it's pretty high compared to normal 1/8000. I once found two shinies in five minutes but sometimes it can take an hour until I see the first shiny. But if you manage to get to 40, just keep reseting the Radar! The shiny WILL come.

It can't be helped, I just love them all. And I adore your drawing style... I think the way you put the pages black instead of the usually used white looks really good. (Sorry for my bad eglish...) Buy the way, I have a naughty natured male Ralts that is also named Vincent.

Funny thing that Vincent also has a naughty nature in game.
Heh, the reason I use full black and not white and black is actually because it's just so much easier to do. I just make black boxes around the panels and vola! Making just black line would be harder because I'd had to make sure all the lines are same size and all that stuff. Plus black is a good contrast for colors.
