I will miss this series, I went along for several years and even encouraged myself to produce a comic (which I have not done until now ...). This story involved me in a way that I can not describe, made me open my eyes and see that Pokemon is not limited only to games, anime or fanarts, this universe can be expanded infinitely through stories like Random Doom, just thank you for the beautiful story created by you.

I don't know that I've ever commented on your work, TamarinFrog... but I've been along for the Random Doom ride almost the whole way. Diamond and Pearl helped reignite my love for Pokemon, and when I discovered your comics, you had a special knack for making me see all sorts of pokemon in a whole new way. I would have never looked twice at a Toxicroak if not for Rupert, and the same could be said for several of the RD cast. Parting is such sweet sorrow, as they say, but Many Happy Returns was the perfect sendoff for such a beloved bunch of characters. Thank you so much for sharing them and their stories with us.
It's been such a pleasure watching your art grow and improve, and it's been a joy to see you start up your Patreon and become so successful. While Random Doom was why I started following your work, I've become a fan of just about everything else you do as well, especially all your Splatoon work.
I hope that you're finding joy along your way, and that things get even better for you from here. Thank you once more for all the happiness you have and continue to spread through your work.

However, these series inspired me to nickname my Pokemon and I really enjoyed this series. I will keep these memories fondly (and possibly do a fanart of this). Thank you for this amazing comic series and the memories you have given all of us.

I am so sad right now. I know all that's good ends, and there is nothing we can do to change that. But still... It could've been so much more, but nothing like this, that is perfect in it's own imperfect way. What I'm trying to say with all this "compicated" expressions in a language that isn't even my main one, is THANK YOU. Thank you all for growing up with me, for making learning enlish way more entertaining and easy for that little argentinian boy that liked Pokémon and comics. Now that i've grown I can say with no doubt that I'll always remember you, and that, as one part of me takes another step on growing older, one little, but important part of me called "childhood" won't grow apart from Random Doom. Sorry for writing so much, it's hard to do less when talking about this.

I remember first coming across this comic when Dear Departed was first getting made and being completely and utterly BLOWN away by the quality of it. The art style, the comic layout, the characters--I was incredibly invested in the story Random Doom had to offer. It was my first experience with a webcomic and I've got to say, it still holds up well. These characters became iconic names with me and my friends and I've always wanted to start a comic series of my own. I may not have commented much on your postings, but you have been one of the biggest influences in my art career because of this little series. It's sad to say goodbye, but every great story needs an end. Thank you so much for sharing these stories and these characters with us and I am anxious to see what kind of content you'll be making as the years come.

No, just this specific comic has ended. They will draw more art about other things and maybe a few relating to this comic (theres a recent one about Saria and Ross). I'll miss RD, but I like how it ended

“ so it’s time to say goodbye but only for a short while” this doesn’t sound like it’s over..... think about it if she really meant what she said the could be another Pokémon comic series however I think it will be in another timeline or in a different region such at Unovs,kalos or ever the Aloha. And HMM... I have to go with Dear Departed for the hardest. Because it took 4 years and I had severe motivation problems, haha!
And easiest? Hmm... I enjoyed chapter 5, Random Doom in Veilstone City a lot. It was fun to draw all the other characters and their pokemon. And it had lot of Danny and Merry, haha.

Ok, time for that comment I mentioned in the journal. I found random doom (pretty sure by random!) when I was first investigating the realms of DA. The gag comics were just too much fun, so I delved into the longer comics and found that, while light-hearted, they were also quite deep sometimes with the subject matter, the character interactions were very much the core of the story and your art grew and grew with time (and it was already impressive to begin with!). I continued to follow the story when I finally summoned the courage to come to DA (thank you husband for the push!) and watched you delve into other art. The series has presented a joy, with my personal favourite being the one between Cotton and Napoleon. It might be the end for the series, but it isn't really. Not only can we all look back on the work, but the characters remain and there are new horizons to explore.
In short, your art and stories are wonderful and I continue to look forward to more.

That's not cool.... April fools was over a while ago *sniffs* wow I'm really gonna miss this series. But I suppose in my dad's words... all good things must come to an end. I'm gonna miss this series heaps. But who knows.... maybe you'll do a different series about pokemon? Maybe whole new characters something in a different direction?
