I remember first discovering your comic around or on Halloween of 2015, because that's when I started taking interest in Pokemon (the anime, not the games, because I don't like those types of games), even though I've now had the episode 167 bookmarked for about 2 years, and not watched it yet. But Pokemon Movie 8 was the first Pokemon thing I had ever watched in about 15 years. I was in daycare the last time I saw an episode.
What actually got me to start watching Pokemon was a GIF I saw of Lucario, which led me to watch Movie 8. I thought Lucario looked really cool, so I looked up images of him shortly after that. And that's how I found Random Doom. This has been one of my most favorite comic series on the internet, right alongside "TwoKinds" and "Tales of Elysium".
Funny, I actually remember the exact movie I watched while waiting for trick-or-treaters to come by. It was the one with the Unown and Entei.

Been here since chapter 1 and though I am sad to see this series end I had a blast reading it all through out all these years. Tam you actually inspired me to work on my own Pokemon Comic series (Though not out yet) and I thank you for that <3

I remember first discovering this series on youtube because someone comic dubbed it, and I was really floored. And then I actually found your DA and I was so excited to just READ all of the new pages. I re-read a lot of the past adventures while waiting for the newest page.
And now it's over and I gotta say, the journey was worth it. Thank you for such a wonderful series.

Well, snap. I said to Twero on my birthday that on the final page, I'd have to write a very long comment. I didn't expect about a week and a few day, however. But damn it, I'm keeping my word.
I'll be honest, I found you when I was in my senior year of high school, I believe. It was because of Random Doom that I started following you. That I feel a LOT of people started following you. Ross was easily my favorite of the bunch because timid, chubby Raichu in a twice-shy relationship with an energetic Leafeon somehow worked. You made that work. And your comics were gold, and I couldn't stop reading them.
Eventually, I said, "I'm gonna a fanfic about this universe". You know the one, "Ross' Fortune", based very loosely off of the Uncharted games by Naughty Dog. I honestly didn't think at the time it was going to be anything special... but you loved it. And others in the Random Doom Fanclub did, too. We all were there with you in our own ways when you rebooted the cast's stories. Heck, you and I, on Rupert's new bio, somehow got the idea of a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles picture with the cast. That made my day, and I kept going with my writing. As you expanded more on this universe, I tried to keep up, and actually finished "Ross' Fortune". To this day, I feel it was the most complete work of fan fiction I've ever done, and even if I never touch the "Thrillerverse" ever again, I thank YOU for the inspiration. It kind of made me fall back in love with Pokemon and improve my story-telling abilities, so I have to say thank you.
Since then, I've moved onto other fandoms (such as RWBY, Fire Emblem, and back in Mega Man), but Pokemon has always been a big one for me. You too have moved on, and you have at least two other comics going on a weekly basis (Ice Climbers Melee Adventure campaign, and your Splatoon series). I keep coming back to deviantART, mainly because you and your comics, but others have been an inspiration to me as well. But you were easily one of the biggest ones.
I'm not saying you have to keep going with Pokemon comics or any of your others. But you shouldn't stop writing or drawing. You're amazing at it. This series I know has inspired people. It inspired me, it inspired others, and we've all been with you, some way or another. As I once had Veruka and Vincent say in "Return to Vermillion City": "It's been quite a ride. Can't wait to see what happens, next." "Yeah, the best."
So thank you, Tammy, for Random Doom.

So if the release those 2 games again in a remake, will you make a new random comic again?

Like many others, Random Doom is what brought me to DA in the first place. It was a joy to follow this comic for all these years,and i remember fondly the times when the comic was still young. RD inspired so many artists, you can be proud of what you created. Thanks for not giving up on this treasure until the very end. Thanks for everything!

I discovered this silly comic series on youtube sometime in June 2015 via a comic fandub and it was very Intriguing. Keep in mind this happened two, almost three years ago before I joined Miiverse and DA. After watching the only available comic fandubs on youtube, I found your DA page and saw issue 5 in the works. I though how wonderful your page was and I couldn't wait to see issue 5 finished. But then, I completely forgot about Random Doom altogether in 2016. School, Vacations, Splatoon, as well as the start of my miiverse page kept me busy over that summer. But then a year later in the summer of 2017, I rediscovered this comic and the memories I had with it while I was starting to get some attention on miiverse. I still remember when Once Upon a Dream was still in the works and I was so impatient when I had to wait 2 weeks for a strip-
Anyways, It's been a pleasure reading this comic series, for it's kinda one of my favorite past time hobbies.
Plus, who doesn't love these pokemon filled with such character?
Also I remember how I was gonna draw Ross some time after christmas when I got a new set of coloring pencils, but I forget that too.
Maybe I should draw that now since this thing's technically over and done with.
Thanks you for entertaining me with a semi-romantic, heavily suspenseful yet funny and charming comic series fill to the brim with my favorite thing: Pokemon. -Deevins

Its a shame that i just became a Pokemon fan and discovered this amazing comic back in January this year. If only i can go back in time to see the comic progress after 11 years. This comic took ELEVEN years! If i saw this comic back then, i probably feel nostalgic by now. :angry:

When I was a wee baby of maybe 14 I had just discovered DA and was searching for Riolu art when I found your "Riolu is Born" comic. Because of that comic -and all the other material I had found after an archive binge into your gallery- I was inspired to get a DA account, to get better as an artist, and to someday start drawing comics of my own~ \o\
I still suck when it comes to making comics (though I haven't given up on getting good enough for that yet ;D ) but I've been here for the past ten years loving all of your content and watching you grow as an artist and writer. I'm not really one for leaving comments (if only because I fret too much about sticking my foot in my mouth and coming off as a creeper) but I somewhat wish I had said more over the years so that you'd have one more voice letting you know how much they appreciate the content you make.
Random Doom is what brought me here, and I am so thankful for it, but I honestly don't feel sad. Perhaps it's because it just means it's one more step towards even more amazing Tammy content in the form of "Bottled Up". I can't wait to see what new stories and adventures you'll be making with your squids mythical creature people~! xD
Btw did you announce what creatures they are supposed to be yet? I don't keep tabs on Tumbler very well. >A>

Well, to be honest I can't believe is actually over, like, this was the comic that brought me here, to actually start to draw and wanted to be like you in a near future, I really wanted to be an artist, but you gave me the desire to do it, you game me a weird feeling, you gave me a kind of inspiration to try it out, that I should do a comic as well, that I have to try something if I want something to happen.
When I first saw Rnadom Doom, I'm not gonna lie that I had my thoughts, not negative, but the title itself and the art style of the time, in the end, I decided to read it, just to see how it is... probably the best accident in my life, I was not sure what I wanted to be in my life at that point, but after seeing Da and you by the most part, I decided to become an artist, and if I was bad at the time, I would work hard to make my dreams come true.
Seeing chapter after chapter gave me what a good storytelling is, as well the "Never give up" thing since I knew you had problems in your life and Da and you did overcome, people do comment about my art style but, everytime I feel lost, I just try to remember your effort to continue, so I just try to be at my best, so I can be with everyone, and seeing you as well.
It was an honor that my first drawings were fanart about your character, which sounds silly, but I don't regret it, I wll take that as my beginnings since, that's when all started, I got the love to draw Pokémon because of your fangroup and those contest, which in the beginning I was planning to not enter, but in the end, I feel for it, and I don't regret it.
As well, thank you for all those tutorials and tips you gave me in the past, as well as the fun times, which they were short, but it was enough for me, I know this is not over, there's the SSB and Splatton comics which I love, I need to cuaght the Splatoon one but I still love Whinter and all characters in general.

Wow... One of the first online-comics I started following actively is over... I feel bit sad now, but I know that it is a huge accomplishment to see something you've worked so long to finally be finished! This only wants me to get into continuing my own comics!!

Thank you Jenna. Random Doom is what turned me into a fanfic writer in the first place. Random Doom allowed me to find so many great friends here on DA. Random Doom allowed me to further my own talent while enjoying this great series. It's sad to see it end but at the same time I knew that it wouldn't last forever. All of us knew that. So many great stories, so many fanfics, none of us know what the future will hold but after this crazy eleven year ride all of us can't wait to see what you do next.
