Ah, I just felt like doing something cute...Furret is my absolute favourite 2nd gen pokemon and I've trained one in every game where you can get furrets.... And pearl is not an exception. And thanks to PokeRadar, I finally caught a shiny (female!) sentret like I always wanted.
So here're my furrets. Rick, likes to wear that scarf and he also has a little beard. Pick... She's pink and she loves her bow (and Rick). If you are wondering, these two are named after Rick the Hamster and Pick the Hamster from Kirby series. And what a coincidence that shiny form of furret is pink just like Pick.

The best time in my life was when I found a Shiny Gible AND a Shiny Chatot (both female)on my Platinum game , caught both of them on my last chance, found them on the same month(May 2013), were very early and random encounters, and the Chatot was found on MOTHER'S DAY!

I remember finding a Roselia that was shiny in my platinum. I didn't use the Pokeradar at all. then in my pokemon black version i found a shiny combee,Joltik and a shiny Ducklett. all in a row XD

i was lucky enough to catch a shiny Sentret from FireRed and then transfer it to Platinum
Now a furret, it was my first true, rare shiny so i named it "Roxas"
its close to level 100 now

OMG i wish i actulay had drawing skills lol...this is my favorite!! I absolutly LOVE furret...I got one in my silver verson, he/she is my best but i havn't played any of my pokemon games in ages ^^" I play get bored and ditch em for a while, -feels inspired to actualy look for her Game boy...>.>

You can catch shinies with an item called PokeRadar (it's in Diamond, Pearl and Platinium). It's a long thing to explain but there is a guide on GameFAQs.

You can find sentrets with pokeradar from route... Um, the one where's bidoofs, starlys and shinxs. Very early in game.

route 201 is the frst route is that it?

It's not the first route (you get only bidoofs and starlys there) so I think it's the route 202.

It reminds me of the Butterfree episode where Ash let his Butterfree go with the pink one. I cried so hard back when I first saw it!

You can find sentres from the route where you catch bidoofs, starlys and shinxses. (sentret is obviously rare pokeradar pokemon).

I spend hours on the radar, and I can barely even get a chain to stick. Much less get a shiney pokemon.
