You can find them from terminus cave and victory road. They attack from the ceiling so get lots of repels and run around until you see shadows and rubble coming from the ceiling.

There are many ways to shiny hunt!
Β
First is the normal, "get lucky" XD You have a 1/8192 chance to find one. I got an onix this way.
But then there are ways to raise your chances and even methods to hunt them.
One way to raise your chances is "Masuda Method". This means you get a pokemon from different country (I use Japanese ditto) and breed it with an English pokemon. This way, you have a 1/1365 chance (In X/Y) to get a shiny baby. This is how I got a shiny froakie and noibat.
Then, there is the old poke radar that makes the return. It's a bit complicated to explain but here is a link to a tutorial: yellowfur.tumblr.com/post/6477β¦
I got a shiny pancham with this.
And last but certainly not least, is a new method introduced in X/Y, consecutive fishing! This means reeling fish pokemon many times and in a row and your chances of finding a shiny raises. Here is a tutorial to that too: rodala.tumblr.com/post/6473603β¦

I think I've only found two shiny pokΓ©mon by 'being lucky'... A shiny Starly (I killed it, sadly) and a shiny Machoke (Now a Machamp), both in PokΓ©mon platinum.
And then I have a few shiny Gyaradoses from Soulsilver as well as the free legendary Sinnoh trio... But still!

I've never been one for bats, but after stuggling so long to find one, I can't help but find Noibat absolutely adorable. Which leads to me enjoying this strup a whole lot more~!

...Fudge. I restarted my game after completing it fully. I didn't catch every PokΓ©mon but I had seen them all and Noibat and Noivern were the only ones I was missing.
