besides it's a comic...and the irony of Gengar's character makes it absolutely hilarious. that is, if you're not humor-blind. even if you don't find it funny, the humor is still blatantly obvious.

Phantasm doesn't exactly fit the mold for his species. He's always been a coward, even before the day he found a place to hide in one of Leo's empty PokΓ©balls.
I plan on delving more into the various back-stories at some point, so be sure to keep your eyes peeled.

Wow, you certainly went above and beyond my expectations. I was thinking silent frames, but you took it a step further.
While Leo's a bit out of character, this is the way you write. Besides, with the side story I plan on putting together later on, this could be a way of keeping his mind off the fact that he and his other traveling companion are trapped in the cave.
Phantasm, on the other hand, is spot-on. He's literally afraid of his own shadow. However, helping to raise this new Joltik, whom shall be called Anansi, may provide the distraction he needs to take his mind off of his long list of fears.
If this much effort was put into a simple comic like this, I can hardly wait to see what you do with our upcoming collab.

I had a reaction sort of like Gengar's on meeting Joltik. It's really cute, handles itself okay, and it evolves into quite a good Pokemon. Generally I tend, through experience, to impose a 'cute is useless' rule, but Joltik shatters that.

Indeed, it's really good. You really added a diversity to your Pokemon; I'd have sworn Gengar would be fine in a cave.

But seriously, the Gengar I have in my Gen IV game was bred with a Timid nature in mind, and he's fantastic as a sweeper.

It is a yellow Gardevoir with orange eyes and an orange horn. For exact coloration, look in my gallery. I'll have to finish the picture of my character and send it to you. Would it be good to send it via email? Plus, he has a Yanma, Arbok, and Cacturne. You can make up the story, and whether or not the certain Pokemon are in it. I'll get back to you with the coloration and the trainer, okay? I may be able to send it tomorrow if I'm lucky.
