We have sunshine!!

After two solid months of rain and storms we finally had a brilliant sunny weekend It was lovely and warm too!
Pretty much cloudless weather can only mean one thing, evening photos!
As you may gather from the Dartmoor Domestics folder in my gallery I love side/back lighting and this was a perfect opportunity. I made sure we got to the place in good time to get some running and jumping shots before we did portraits, making use of the sun before it went to bed.

I didn't want to simply edit these straight like I normally do because I have lots of Hamish and wanted these to be different. I usually edit my photos quite heavily but never to the point where they look unreal but this time I knew I wanted to create a more stylistic set of images and did a lot of experimenting with layers and tones. I think they came out quite nice I'm not sure how often I'll do this but it was a nice little practice session.
