Description
After waiting many months and most of the night, the long expected last foal of the season was born. Despite the long delivery the foal came out to be a perfectly healthy colt. While his coat didn't match his mothers his curly little mane and tail had the same silver touch to it. From his father he obtained his bluish tint of his coat and his bright blue eyes. Though it did seem that colt had a lighter main body than to his head and legs, but it could be just the light came down onto it. Omar would have to see to it later on when the colt grows in size.
"For one to be born this late and during the storm you seem a bit active," stated Omar with a chuckle as he leaned onto the stall door to watch the little family inside. "Poor Anja your boy will surely be a handful. At least you have learned from your many foals. So I hope he wont tire you too much," he said gazing at the slumbering mare.
"Have you come up with a name for our newest member?" said a voice that came from Omar right. He turned to see who spoke and saw it was none other than his wife Jamila who was walking over with two cups of hot tea in hand. The old woman then handed him the drink, to which he in turn accepted it gratefully before taking a few sips down. When he finished he finally answered her question, " I my dear have not yet come up with one. Its hard when you have so many to name." Jamila stifled a chuckle before turning her focus to the colt that stood beside his mother and took interest in those that spoke. " Well since his mother has the name of fallen angel and the fathers means something about snow...why not perhaps Sněžný Anděl or "Snow Angel"," she offered. Omar looked at his wife a bit in awe and confusion before responding back to her, " Might be a little off don't you think. I mean...well.. since he doesn't have much whiteness to him." "But, of course it doesn't sound too bad for the young one. I'm sure our grandchildren might like that when they wake up," he said as he smiled once more.
"Why don't you come inside dear and rest yourself. You've had a long night and sure you could use the sleep, just like Anja over there?" said Jamila as she took her husbands hand carefully. Omar looked to his wife before looking towards the two creatures in the stall. He then shook his head before returning his gaze back to his wife, "Yeah I could use the sleep. They should be okay without us for now." With that omar escorted himself and his wife back to their home where they would stay up just a bit to take care of small house tasks before taking themselves up the stairs and to their bedroom. No one knows what the future will hold for little snow, but for now what we all can do is rest.
