Nice job finishing off this picture! The color shades came out nice and added a lot of depth, especially to the background. And of course, that giant scorched tongue is a riot... Classic slapstick!

Oho a background~ You should incoporate those more often, they add a bit more context to the scene. The trees remind me of Link to the Past though at first glance it looked like Hercules had some extra hair going on from the back x3
I will say this is one of your better designed pictures.

I want to, and will try too, but they take so dang long, lol. LTTP's trees were more round and berry like, lol. Though my trees are similar to the way I draw them with my tiles.

Sometimes you have to take that extra step to make things look nice. I'd say give them one when it warrants one, something that adds to the scenario and not something just tacked on.
