Just a little design update for him. I decided to give him a poncho; it suits his adventurous side nicely
. Also, his gloves are now made of the same silky material as his bandanna on his right leg. In addition, his eyebrows are now black X3.What's going on on the right are the Spring Shoes. Naturally, they'd be used to jump across pits and stuff. But just like the Iron Boots on Ocarina of Time, you wouldn't want them on all the time, as they'd make him continuously bounce up and down, since equilibrium wouldn't be achieved. Useful little (or big, really XD) things. There would be an upgrade for them that would be a red (with purple markings) pair, to make him jump even higher.

Well I'm actually thinking about making it topdown like Zelda, if I can't make it 3D (I have no experience making 3D games or models whatsoever XD.)

top-down games are the greatest. i still love Guardian Legend to this day. 
i don't really like 3D too much, actually... i dunno why. XD
that's kinda odd that you have no experience with 3D modelling and yet everything you draw seems like it's 3 dimensional.very impressive.

I don't care much for realistic 3D. Some games call for it like Fallout I guess, but I prefer a colorful and cartoony or pixel-based 3D game, like Cube World :3.
