GAH. I haven't practiced drawing or using Photoshop in a long time, and it shows -- I didn't even manage to finish CGing this properly, as I got too tired. Hence the Scraps section.This is admittedly the closest I've probably ever got to getting the hairstyle correct, minus the fact that I obviously flipped this one horizontally (again) so that the side-part is on the wrong side (again).
