Got the idea of what if Mheetu was Nala's cub, not her brother >> How would she break the news to Simba?After all, she may have fallen in love with him in the jungle, but she hasn't seen him in three or so years, so I doubt even Sarabi would know how he'd react to Mheetu...
Especially if Nala where to tell Simba who the father was >>
But in Nala's defence, she DID think that Simba was dead, you can't linger on someone who's meant to be gone, you need to move on ><

I think that Simba would lose it for a day or two, then start ignoring Nala, but then he would have some Mufasa-related-dream-memory thingie, and adopt Mheetu. ^^

yeah, well, if she got knocked up before Simba came back, when he was a runaway, he technically wasn't mates with Nala at the time. It would have been in Nala's best interest to say right off the bat "hey, btw, I have a kid" before engaging Simba in a relationship. But Simba can't blame her for what happened at the end of the day.
