I'm intimidated by time . . . Always have been, always will be >_< Luckily I'm learning on my own time!

Oh nice. And fun detail that you'd even include the part about 2:15 being "viertel drei", I thought that was something only people in Austria use.
Love your series, btw, very interesting to read

Ehh I should point out, we English use 24-hour time too x) Certainly moreso than the American's and the AM/PM timeline.

I think you have one mistake in the text ><
With the first chart you have the last one, 14:17, but the red words say;
siebzehn Uhr siebzehn
Isn't it; vierzehn Uhr siebzen?
Other than that, a very useful chart!

No, siebzehn Uhr siebzehn is right.

The "dreiviertel" and "viertel vier" is a regional thing. My friends from Eastern Germany use it and I always ask them to clarify. I think it's safer to go with "viertel nach/vor".
But more importantly: "14:17" is NOT read "siebzehn Uhr siebzehn". That's a VIERzehn. Neither is it pronounced "Vierzehn Uhr und siebzehn Uhr".
When you make a tutorial you've gotta pay attention to get things right. Other people rely on your information!

Klar, war ja auch nur ein Hinweis. Wie gesagt, andere können nicht so gut deutsch und nehmen das am Ende für bare Münze.

What I always found confusing about German time (and it applies to Dutch time too) is that "halb funf / half vijf" for you is 4:30 XD Which makes no sense to me as an English speaker! Half Five = 5:30!
