DO NOT COPY THIS TATTOO! I spent 7 years designing it (with input from friends and a paid artist) and it's very personal to me.Inching closer and closer to the tattoo I want.
I haven't been feeling particularly creative lately, but last night I got it in my mind to work on my compass tattoo (which I hope to have done before the end of the year)
I looked to DA for LOTS of inspiration, and I think now I am REALLY close to the perfect design!
I've tried to keep it minimal and feminine, yet unique and sharp (as it will represent the logical side of me)
I don't know what to do in regards to the outer-most lines (hence their being lighter) and I'm not sure which way it should face!
Also - what do you guys think of the arrow-heads?
Edit: Yeah, I took away the outlaying lines.
And now I'm shifting it to my gallery.
EDIT: okay - because I learned somebody got this tattoo, I prevented download to discourage this sort of thing. It won't let me add a watermark.

Hi. My mom has a thing about compass roses and she found this one (on Pinterest, I think?) and really likes it. She wants to paint one on her bedroom wall. Is that ok with you? It probably won't turn out quite the same.

It reminds me a little of the book from the fringe series,"The first humans."

Well I think it would have been a great read if it where a real book but unfortunately there where a few pages and the cover made specifically for the fringe episodes. J.J. Abrams should write a fiction novel about it. I wrote a short story following the episode in which the book was featured but I never got a response when I sent his staff a part of it.

Compared to a lot of the fuzzy/blurry/out of focus/upside down pics I've seen in Tats this is really quite good
And it came out terrific! I really like the design and your tattooist did a great job with so I say Bravo

Yeah, the design is actually up-side-down... other than that it's great. I'm rather pleased.
