I think I know the reasons why Sasha isn’t eager about wanting to go home; she has a lousy relationship with her parents, and it seems more bad than Marcy and her parents. We don’t know what Mr and Mrs waybright look like, but if I have to guess, I’d say Sasha gets her good looks from her mom. And as for what their personalities are like, maybe they’re strict, busy or more involved than what Sasha would had liked. Maybe they also don’t care about what she does all day, are emotionally neglectful, and are the reason why Sasha is a stubborn, bossy pants ring leader rebel. However, it could be a case of decent normal parents having wild or bad kids.

However, it does show that despite her behavior and friendship with grime, even Sasha was against of simply leaving her world behind. And hopefully Mr and Mrs waybright will understand when Anne tells them what happened and they pray that Sasha will be alright and find her way home soon, and will be impressed and proud when they learn that she is actually going to lead a rebellion.
