Wow. First of all, this is an abosolutely gorgeous piece. Really it's no wonder it got a Daily Devation.
I love the use of color. I love how green is the dominant color but there are subtle variations throughout the piece. There are also other colors clearly visible. And they all work in harmony. That also complements the whole aura of this artwork.
This art is very harmonious. I love how the magic horse is near the young boy and neither is afraid of the other. They look like they feel safe and peaceful. I feel safe and happy just looking at this. This sends a powerful message about harmony. Keep up the good work my friend! Terrific job! I hope to see more from you soon!

Absolutely beautiful. The green being more dominant definitely catches one's eye, you did a beautiful job with shading. I love the unique way you drew the wings of the Pegasus. The shading is done well, nature is breath taking, Pegasus is just beautiful, I just don't like the way you positioned the boy. I feel the that with way he is positioned, there should be more shadow and definition in his face.
Other than that, I just adore your work. You did a great job with the reflection of the trees in the water. I love the way that you incorporated the obvious sadness of the boy, but still showed how comforted he was with his friend beside him and with his surroundings.

First off, a very beautiful piece that is executed near to perfection. A well deserved Daily Deviation.
Even though green in this piece is the dominate color, I can see other colors. Such as yellow, blue, brown and white. With the usage of the other colors, it makes the overall piece work together as well as giving rhythm making the viewer look over through out the piece. The light source on the Pegasus is spot on and gives this piece a feeling whimsical. The atmosphere seems reclusive and makes the unity among the plants and water a peaceful place.

Well, What can i say? This piece is simply beautiful. The way your palette only consist of earthy-like tones and white made this piece look pure and elegant at the same time. The trees are done well enough to draw attention to the piece of art, but blend in well enough to not draw too much attention to themselves. The variety of colors you've used on the wings make them look simply stunning. Still, the wings look slightly awkward in that position, and boy could use a little work to make it better. Overall, i think this piece is fantastic.

The first thing I thought when I noticed this was the background scenery in general. Just --- wow. I love how you blend in RL scenery (oh gosh if it isn't in the bottom left corner please don't think that as offensive) with your own BG art, and the lighting and colour theory is just exquisite. The brightness on the pegasus/horse's wings add to the ethereal and calm feel of it all.
Critique wise, it's kind of odd seeing a human head sticking out like that. Having him tilt his head downwards seems more appropriate IMO, especially with the context given in the artist description. In addition, his anatomical left arm is a tad too short, hand including (that's a tad too small).
For the winged horse, the --- left wing? The one that goes straight up, anyways. It's really stiff and kind of feels like cardboard, in a sense. I think it's because you have it positioned on the ridge/back? It'd probably work better if it was placed on the other side, unless that's just artistic license. The back left hind leg looks really transparent, and the back right leg is too thin for my taste. I'm not going to say that I'm an expert at drawing horses of any type, but the horse's anatomical structure, face wise, is pretty wonky.
Other than that, this is a beautiful work of art. Please keep it up * U *

First of all, I gotta say I was blown away by this.
You chose such a beautiful color scheme which created a mysterious but kind atmosphere.. I felt like I got dragged into this forest immediately.. *-*
I also like the way you used your brushes in this piece, you really outdid yourself here.. The way you used different brushes for the bushes in the foreground than you used for the other components of the painting created a strong feeling of depth and also increased the impact!
Another thing I liked about this piece was how the composition combined with the brightness leads the eye from the left wing of the pegasus-creature towards the boy.. oh man.. I really like the details.. a.deviantart.net/avatars/r/l/r⦠" alt=" " title="rlytearplz" />
only a few things to criticize..
I'd revise the anatomy of the human a bit.. something about his posture seems.. a bit wobbly to me..
.. and -this may be just me-.. but isn't the forest a bit 'too' crooked there in the background..? :'D I know, nature isn't perfectly upright.. but to me it always seems like the trees are gonna fall over to the left side at any moment..
.. also the theme of the painting wasn't that clear to me.. ^^'

overall this is a really nice drawing. i love the idea of somebody staying beside you when you're sad and the fact that it's not a person, but a winged horse makes the drawing a little more unique to me.
i love the atmosphere of the drawing with them in the middle of a forest but i would personally have made that horse a unicorn(i don't know why)
the lighting effect on the wings and on the plants are the two things that made me like this drawing the most. it makes you want to jump in the scene and take advantage of this soothing environment. i like how peaceful it looks and makes you want to just sit down and look at this just to come down. the only thing is that a lot of people would of liked more details on the plants but i think it fits with the art style so i don't care much about since it looks good and makes it looks like a fairy tale drawing e.deviantart.net/emoticons/s/s⦠" width="15" height="15" alt="

This is seriously beautiful. I want to get a giant poster of it and hang it on my wall because wow this is really amazing. I can't draw at all and seeing these kinds of things makes me realise just how much time, effort and patience people put into art. Sadly I don't have any of those things, which is probably why I can't draw! XD

I love this drawing, with the light coming from two directions- One from the back of the forest of towering canopy trees, the way you draw everything here can make any artist envious, and with that light shining upon the beautiful winged horse, simple words coming from only a mortal human being cannot describe how amazing this is~ <3
I truly love how soft and smooth the water looks, just as if it were real, and I love the dreamy effect this is giving- As if this scene was just a picture taken from one of the many dreams that children and children-at-heart have.
The shading and lighting of this all is just so perfect, I love this~ ;w;

Of course it's your work that I'm describing, there is no other piece that I've seen on dA (So far, at least X'D) that is as beautiful as this one, since I just love every aspect and feature of this, the Daily Deviation was well deserved~
