Description
I've wanted to draw Nara Shikamura for a while, as he's my favorite Naruto character. His seiyuu is also Shigeno/Honda Goro, the main character in another anime I watch, Major, so that's another bonus point for Shikamaru. I've held off on drawing him because I didn't feel like my skills were up to par yet. I did make one attempt way back during the Chuunin arc, but that didn't turn out so well. I finally felt confident enough (and bored enough) to take another stab at it.

I drew the lineart on paper, inked and colored in Flash, and did the shading and background in Photoshop. w00t! This file with which I was working was twice the size as this one. I just didn't want to kill people's computers by loading that.
