Don't be too hard on yourself! I think it looks great. The only thing I think could be fixed is that their eyes look a little surprised, because the whites of their eyes are so much bigger than their irises. But if you lowered the top of their eyes (like the top eyelashes) a little, I think this would be perfect.
I gotta say... the resemblance is really strong all except for the......... height......

I drew it a long time ago, that's why I don't like it
and.. I admit it , their eyes really do look somewhat surprized
