Felix will soon discover that the Valley is home to many interesting individuals.......And no, this image is not a joke. There seriously is a Cthulu living there.

seeing Cthulu cheerfully scrubbing his armpits is... frightening at best... why is Cthulu happy, and why is that duck not attacking everything in sight? I assumed it was an attack duck.

Oh, bah, it's fine. A bar of soap will work just fine, especially since a gallon jug of shampoo probably isn't readily available. It'd just feel... unusual. For homework, try running a bar of soap through your hair.
Hm, makes a person wonder what exactly is the tech level of the Tangent Valley villagers -- probably no power, or limited power, no mass consumer goods, so... late medieval?
Which brings up some questions Felix hasn't really asked herself yet -- how is she going to get turned back, how is she going to get back home, and is either of the two even possible? I mean if they have no technology... they do have magic, though, so...
(Oh oh oh, and does she have friends and family that might be missing her?)

All of a sudden I'm picturing Sam Starfall running around without his breathing suit. Hehe, as for weirdness, at least this Cthulu doesn't have tentacles coming out of his armpits, and he certainly looks happy there.

Remember that the Valley exist in the space between dimensions and universes. Pretty much ALL forms of life are possible in the Valley...

Might want to make min more dragon like. because there is a monster that looks like this that for all i know, isn't related to Chhulhu. it is called a Mind Flayer or an Illithid. I admit iDK much about them besides that they were in a game I played.

The Mind Flayer's heads resemble octopi. Cthulu's head (at least as I understand it) resembles an octopus as well.
Boom. That's the one thing they have in common. Don't worry though, any true D&D fan will be able to immediately tell them apart, and not make the mistake upon seeing whatever rendition of Cthulu you might draw.
(Mind Flayer's also typically have a pale grey skin color, and Cthulu is often times seen as green.)
