How a Tunnel Runner (Atari 2600) remake would probably look like if I made one (I had no luck finding any).
I always thought the triangular keys in the game were cheese cause the manual said “you’ve been running in the maze for so long, you’ve started to develop a taste for cheese”, but cheese is (otherwise) nowhere to be seen in the game.
Another thing is that the Zots in the game remind me of the Cacodemons from Doom, though Zots come in several different colours.
Tunnel Runner is a 3D maze game with the RAM Plus chip, where the cartridge holds additional bytes to make this game possible.
