Here's an official and unused alternative death for our dear Cave Johnson...obviously not used in the game but I thought it was an interesting alternative so I used it to make this. I don't know if Cave was ever to actually become a core or if he was just some random machine box dumped into a room. I wanted him to be a core though, plus do a little remake of my 'Caroline meeting Glados' pic...It's all good fun when you're obsessed with a great story line (even if there's tiny bits that don't make sense
). Hope you enjoy! ....Space. Lots of space. Need to see it all......Space.

There's never enough art of Cave/Caroline. I don't know if he really was a core in the original story idea Valve had of him being a machine but I'm quite flattered you wish to draw it. Please feel free to!
I'd love to know more about the history of Aperture, too. Hopefully the Portal movie that J.J Abrams is working on would be a prequel or at least a future game from Valve? I'm crossing my fingers for that!
