The thoughts going through the minds of the men/womenΒ there not what anyone would expect. The life of a soldier. Amazing with much respect for the brave. Great photo.

Definitely not, a lot of it is quite random, haha.Β A good chunk of our conversations on patrol involved food.Β
Thank you.Β

I know the feeing its very random, yet whats crazier is when a soldier has left the warzone he and or she miss the life in combat.Β

I have heard that before, honestly it can be many things that lead a soldier to believe that war is something to miss.Β

Definitely.Β Most of it is the brotherhood that's forged there.Β My teammate and I got close enough that we all but read each other's minds.Β xD

I've been trying to coerce our armorer to put one on my weapon, but I've been stuck with the red dot sight.Β

Well, if you're on urban excursions, your best bet is an EOTech 512. That, again I think depends on your choice of weapon, M4A1s really shine in CQC.

True.Β Unfortunately, only a handful of people in m unit are allowed those.Β I'm fine with my red dot sight, though.Β If I'm shooting my rifle, something's wrong lol.Β

SOPMOD crane stock, Vertical grip, ACOG Scope, AN/PEQ15, Altogether about a 3000 dollar rifle... Very nice to know we're using state-of-the-art equipment over there. Great photograph, too! But, is there anything "hung" on the underside of the barrel? Or is that just the way the photograph looks?
