so after about a week of coloring in spurts, I finally was able to finish this piece! I am very happy with it ....even though i think that the scanner did not do justice for all the colors that I put in here but hey it happens! ^__^If you would like to see the WIPS they are on my Tumblr page

Oooooooh! I love this so much hon! The purple color scheme is so glorious! Her hair is stunning. What you did with the shine and the dimension is just breathtaking. It looks so glossy and full. I really love the shape of this voluptuous lady! She's so curvy and cute and you really made her curves stand out. The shading on her outfit is awesome and it really gives the piece some amazing depth. The pop of yellow is such a brilliant idea as well. Yellow and purple are really good together and the yellow breaks up the purple just enough so that it's really easy on the eye. I really love the delicate shade you chose for her skin. It's very smooth and creamy. The background is amazing. You have some mega patience to do a detailed background like this. It looks fantastical! The little bits of pink and blue really set it off. And her face is adorable! I just love that little half smile and that tiny button nose. Just amazing, my dear! I applaud you for another wonderful piece of art. I'm glad you decided to go traditional with this one too. The pencil texture really gives this piece a richness and depth that digital just wouldn't have provided. Beautiful word as usual!!!

YOU JUST MADE MY DAY! i'm glad you like the color scheme and all the details , i just used my favorite Lumpy space princess wallpaper to get her down perfect [link] she is one of my favorite characters from Adventure time!!! ^___^....but i have to say coloring that background was a BEAST!!! It felt like it took me FOR-EV-ER!!!! LOL

I'll bet that background did take you forever. I wish I liked coloring backgrounds better than I do. It's too bad that a background makes a picture so much better because if it weren't for that I would just leave it blank. I wish I had more patience. That is an adorable character though, and you did a great job on her! You are so very welcome!

You're always welcome Nitasha! I know how you feel. My patience gets used up on one piece all the time. I think I need to start coloring backgrounds first. Maybe the reverse psychology will help me take my time better.

I figure if I start on the background and alternate between that and the subject, then it won't feel like I'm spending too much time on any one thing.
