Description
An FA-70 Panther, flown by Lt. Jorge "Wolf" Watts with back seater Ensign Brian "Eyes" Marks, are vectored by the USS George Washington's AWACS "Hawkeye 1" to intercept multiple unknown contacts approaching the battlegroup. After topping off on the tanker, the Panther banked hard, and dove for the deck to get in line with the unknowns. The four hundred miles went by in seconds as the 70 dashed towards the unknowns. Slowing down, Eyes called out..."Pather 1, tally 7 Sukhoi Fighters, 3 Tupolev Bombers"
"Hawkeye 1 copies. Plate has cleared you hot."
"Copy that Hawkeye 1."
Seconds later, the Hawkeye called out "Pather 1, MERGE!"
7 Flankers, 1 Panther, who will win...
I placed an homage to Ace Combat Assault Horizon, but you guys are gonna have to know your birds to catch it.

The engines could use some refinement, but their design is still pretty top notch... for conventional dogfighting, against stealth... not so much, unless the Russians perfected their plasma shield tech.

Most jets have more surface foils than the standard missile, giving them a higher turning ability. If they can see it coming they can typically dodge it. And if the pilot is really good, not only does he duck the missile but gets turned around to go after the attacker in the same maneuver.

most anti missile maneuvers will kill the pilot

High G maneuvers will make a pilot black out, sure, but not always. Check youtube, they've got lots of videos of these jets turning on a dime without harming the pilot.
