The atmosphere is purely amazing. I like the separation between the flowers, the colors, the light that represent life and the coldness, the darkness, dead trees representing Death. Same with the characters, Persephone beautiful goddess wearing a light pink dress that goes very well with her skin. Hades on the other side is wearing his bloody red cape making his skin even bluer. This again shows how opposite the characters are. Persephone's expression is quite hard to interpret but I'll say that she looks a bit afraid to open her eyes and faces her husband but has yet her hand close to his. I see the river as the Styx because her hair, her dress and his cape are all falling into it but I may be wrong. For Hades it is hard to tell since his face is a skull. The little light he is holding can has two interpretations. Maybe he is trying to protect it because he knows Hell can't exist if there is no life in the mortal world. Or he is just happy because he also knows that everything that dies will go in his kingdom forever. Maybe it's the two I can't tell. Anyway this picture is beautiful and shows very well how two different beings end up forever together.

This is truly amazing! I love coming across art like this that can portray a simple picture that is seen by the eye but can be decoded in a much more complex meaning by the mind. I love Hades! He's one of my favorite greek gods! While I don't know much on art or value, I am blown away by how perfect and beautiful this is. I love how this picture conveys the idea of light and darkness coming together or how the difference between the two can make it impossible for them to do so. These kinds of art creations greatly bring life to me and bless my mind! ^^ This is really amazing! Β Β Β

The head of hades feels so strange ._.
But the woman and background are breath taking *o* and those transparent effects.
it's a good interpretation, I love this...

I also went through your digital painting 101 tips, some very good stuff there, a lot of it I wished I had known when I started painting back in 2013. Β Can't wait for the advanced class

All in all this probably took about 30 hours, but it's hard to say because I had to redo an awful lot of it when the PSD got corrupted
