On an unrelated note, we mentioned our hatred of Labyrinth Zone from the first Sonic game. You're going to hate what I say next: Scrap Brain Zone Act 3(the last level before the final boss) is a REMAKE OF LABYRINTH, WATER AND ALL!!

The worst part is that air bubbles take TWICE AS LONG to appear, meaning if you're not quick enough, you're pretty much dead.

Oh, it is... if you take the long route. There's a HUGE shortcut at the beginning, but you have to hurry to get to it.

Unfortunately, even if you take the shortcut, you still have to deal with the dreaded H2O. And unlike the water in Labyrinth Zone, which was green, the water in Scrap Brain Zone Act 3 is a nasty purple. I think that may be why air bubbles take so long to appear(pardon my French in the next sentence): THE FUCKING WATER IS POLLUTED!!

The absolute worst part is when that horrible 'panic' music starts up. Even the most hardened gamers(myself included) start sweating bullets when that music plays.

Sadly, yes... but there only two zones in the game where Sonic can drown: Aquarium Park(obvious) and Asteroid Coaster. Plus, with the Drill Wisp, Sonic can stay in water as long as the wisp's power holds out.
