Pokedex entry: It sees everything as potential prey. Because it has 360 degree vision, nothing is safe from its dagger shaped claws.
Trivia: Yanmega is, as its name suggests, based on the Meganeura monyi, a particularly large, prehistoric species of dragonflies and damselflies. Its species name suggests it is based on a green darner. Its mega evolution is based on Megaguirus (a kaiju from the Godzilla franchise). Mega Yanmega was originally going to have the ability Draconian (formerly known as Dragon Spirit), but I figured it would need cover against Fairy type Pokemon. The picture above shows a regular Yanmega; shiny Mega Yanmega is red with green spots like its pre-evolution Yanma.
