Trivia: Based on a Phorusrhacidae, or Terror Bird, trapped in tar which are renowned for trapping ice age animals. Name derives from tar and Diatryma, which was once believed to be a predatory bird that hunted Eohippus. Its colouring is based on the Grey Crowned Crane. It also shares traits with tornadoes and bird baths, as well as typical "goo-monsters".
