supplosably it can cause a EMP and change the weather so I think that's it, or for attacking

I love the design! Truly terrifying... the head reminds me of a hammerhead. I can't tell though, does this creature have eyes, or does it rely on electrical fields for 'vision' like sharks?

Nah, this is the only neuro I designed that doesnβt have hidden eyes. So it uses thermal vision instead.

Looks more like a Spinosaurus got the Xenomorph treatment...no offense.

Nah, itβs not biomechanical enough for that, but I get where you see resemblance.Β

Looks like what Dino Crisis 3 tried to design, but made right! Would love to play a game or watch a movie with your creatures!

It's got a wonderful defense mechanism. You don't dare kill it.

I like the colors of the light shining on it, and the design is interesting itself!

Thanks. It is fun to draw, probably one of my favourite of my strain designs to sketch along with the hyper quetz Β

"inspired by 'the isle'"
I think, in this case, it's more appropriate to say "Inspired 'The Isle'".
Looks like it just rose out of the water and is ready to screw with some normies.

I like the little crests on the sides of his head. What are those, exactly? Some kind of echolocation device?
π: 0 β©: 1
Tapwing In reply to AntFingers [2017-08-09 19:18:10 +0000 UTC]
They're for thermal detection. I've blined this neuro so it needed a better way to detect its surroundings.Β

AntFingers In reply to Tapwing [2017-08-11 11:27:53 +0000 UTC]
Oh, I like it. And aren't all neuro's meant to be blind?
π: 0 β©: 1
Tapwing In reply to AntFingers [2017-08-15 19:35:14 +0000 UTC]
Depends. for my neuros (outside of spino) I like the look of it being eyeless, but I don't want them to be blind. So I sneak some inconspicuous eyes under a transparanet skull cap similar toΒ Marcopinna microstoma.Β

AntFingers In reply to Tapwing [2017-08-16 03:55:17 +0000 UTC]
It's always a pain to draw them eyeless for me, I need to have some feature there. I usually just put some crazy cheekbone.
