you know, i really have no idea, i think thats the hardest bit about art, putting a price on it, though i think something of this nature i would probably think around 100-150 range for the time mostly and the materials. but i always feel really wierd stating real numbers, if that makes sense.

this whole kind of suspension or whatever you'd call it, i think is remarkably fun, its also fairly easy, and its really flexible to the input of new ideas. anyways definately rock those thinkings of yours out.

heh, i was just wondering a few days ago if you were going to post more stuffs.

cool piece, is each angle/seam brazed or are the star arms folded?
interesting balance putting it to one side like that.

well they arent really brazed all that well, more like a couple of tack spot on each seam. the piece itself is fairly 2d. i actually put it off to the side so the top could point to one corner and t other sides could point to other corners, which might even have worked if the piece was at alla ccurate to what i was working from. but still i felt it looked cooler off to the side.

yeah i really like that placement.

maybe could use solidifying some of the weld seams tho...

they dont really fit well enough to fill in the seams without worrying about melting the copper(which i had a few mistakes because of), its really solid when alls said and done from a strenght point of view.
