'Tis only the bravest few
That row out past the waves
Well off they go where the whale fish blow
And they hope to earn their pay
The Defiant's crew of six brave men
Heaved ahead to make their catch
But the angry giant over threw the Defiant
And those six men breathed their last

Cannon fire barked over the sea

Until a wave reared up high over their heads
Now under the sea they'll rest

Has now plotted out her course

And took them head first through a storm
The thunder beckoned her come closer
And the rain began to fall
The Atlantic claimed the Devil's Trick
And sent them down to hell after all
