i love the black and white, the style and the effect of the make up coming away like a window on her natural face... the nice thing too is that above and beneath the makeup, her beauty (And i love that expression :3) is the same, just highlighted on two different sides: outside the elegant and researched art of improving one's own apparel, inside the imperfectly perfect work of nature

Yea and when girls are 'natural' they're still wearing makeup. (Nude lip, light eyeshadow, etc) Society is crazy.

I think this is supposed to be a commentary on the whitewashing nature of our culture, and the forlorn attempts of someone to conform to the white standard of beauty. Or...I'm overanalyzing it.
