I was actually inspired to this image by the background, it looked so wonderfully cozy I wanted to just jump in and read there. So I looked for a reader and I found this adorable girl, who looked about the right age and type to be reading some J.K. Rowling for the first time. I found my Harry on Deviant art as well, and this is why I love this site, something that should have taken much longer took me a couple hours.I love this image it accomplished exactly what I wanted to convey, which is that magical feeling that comes when reading a book you truly love and more specifically how it felt when first becoming immersed in the whole Hogwarts world and first being introduced to the magical boy who lived, Harry Potter.

Please, please, please do not repost this image as your own or post it outside of deviantart. If you are found doing this I will be tempted to use a crucio curse on you, but I would never do that, it's forbidden...I'll instead cast a full body bind and alert the DA staff.

Thank you so much for the kind words and for the image! I thought of submitting it to groups but I'm having a hard time deciding what type of groups to submit to, should I focus on just harry potter groups and book loving groups or are there other types you can think of? I just came back to DA after awhile and this group thing is a little bit overwhelming to me.

Don't worry, you get used to them. I've only been actually active in the last 2 months, so I know how it goes.
Some of these groups are pretty big and there are pros and cons to that. Pro; getting your art out to a wider audience.. con; very full deviantwatch box, may be hard to keep up on all the art. But no harm trying them out, you can always leave if they aren't your thing.
