No, I'm still not over my excitement about the new Avatar mini-series.KORRAAAAAAAA!
TENZIIIIIIIIIIIN!
They will be kickass and awesome and it will be glorious.
Obviously, I am completely making up Tenzin's design. I figured he's at least middle-aged, assuming Aang and Katara had him in their twenties (and assuming he's the oldest and not the youngest or a middle child of a whole brood). From there I just tried to combine different aspects of Air Nomad and Water Tribe dress and appearance in an even mix, him being CANON KATAANG OFFSPRING EEEEEEEEEE!
Will be looking forward to Legend of Korra most eagerly come 2011.

So I don't know if you noticed by the upload date or not but this was drawn waaaaaay early on in Korra's production process. Β Before we had any official character designs for Tenzin at all.

We don't actually know what Tenzin looks like yet. (The only ones we've seen promo art/drawings for are Korra and some Sukka descendant named Meelo.) This was just my idea/interpretation.

The one thing I'm confused about the Tenzin designs is... How would he have gotten the tattoos? I mean, Aang could have tattooed him, but uhhh that seems strange to me, cause its just like: "Hey son! Congrats, you mastered Airbending. Now let me just poke you repeatedly with a needle and some ink!" Best father of the year award...??? hahaha. Have any theories yourself? xD
