yeah i really want to get to a few next year, but im baed in the UK so it'd have to be one of those. but having never been to one i dunno where to even start looking to find one.

You should save up and come to OTAKON!!!!! 
Not only because it's one of the biggest and most amazing cons, or the MGS reference (that's why he's named that), BUT BECAUSE I COULD HELP YOU PROMOTE IT by throwing books at people and telling them to read it XD

It's in Maryland. Baltimore, to be specific.
The party lasts three days (Friday, Saturday, Sunday)sometime in late summer. It's every year, and I think it's the biggest con in the USA.
