well there are communications, but nothing that is easily portable like a cell phone, i felt having something like that would take away from the peril of a story like this.

This is good. The art style is clean and professional Kodo seems to be a experienced competent fighter and Ryna is cute but not annoying. I want to see some more of this.

Awesome so what kind of swordsman is Kodo a power type a skill type or a brawler.
Will he be Zoro, Kenshi, or Kenpachi.

mostly a power type, but with some surprising speed now and again. initially similar to ichigo (post bankai hehe)

Good will he get a different sword after killing a truly strong opponent.

for the most part he'l be keeping that sword, his power gain will be from himself rather than his weapon. Theres a bit of a backstory to his current sword that is going to be explored a little later on.
