Description
Whew, "Dinosaur Assault" series is getting more action! XD, but I'm a bit lazy in drawing architectural backgrounds. So this here the fanart of Riptor, the half raptor and human human mutant, from the game "Killer Instinct". King Corus visits Riptor's domain, the arena, where he can challenge who's mightier, fiercer and badass...sadly, Corus remains his character as a friendly raptor-iguana hybrid of the Shivanian blood, not wanting to be like Riptor latter who looks pretty evil and so killer instinct.
I hope they will be getting along during the rest. ^^"

Nice job. I would have to say the thing that bothers me the most is how.....ridiculously huge those muscles look to me. They body builders or something?

Well, honestly I like muscles and I draw them for my most of my male characters, even other characters. Both are warriors.
However, I've been planning to draw chubby and slim characters

i dont mind muscles, but this is on whole nother level from what seems.....real. Ya, some body builders get muscles like that, but when you look at them, what do you think? I honestly find that they seem inherently wrong.

Though both of them are naked but, none of the parts are showing.

Why would they? They're reptiles, not mammals.

True but, most of the lizard-folk in this world fashion loincloths.

“but I'm a bit lazy in drawing architectural backgrounds”… indeed. :-P
The background is not only “boring”, but also very flat in it’s depth.
Also, the columns are completely wrong, ‘cause they show us an incorrect perspective!
Look at the thorns and this “golden ring” things around the coloumns: here’s a break in perspective. The foundation (or base) of the coloums show us the basis room perspective of the floor. Alright. But when we’re reaching the middle of the picture, the perspective suddenly turns up completely!! The “golden ring” things should’ve been placed right UNDER the ceiling to look correct. But this here is just totally incorrect and… it really destroys the complete perspective of the room.
The design of ”Riptor” is correct according to the reference provided by NINTENDO ( [link] ) but I think that you could’ve given him a personal touch, too. After all, this is supposed to be a raptor somehow – but raptors have larger and thinner snouts! This short snout looks kinda wrong and reminds more of a Brachiosaurus.
And once more… broken feet, ankles and horrible hands.
You always claim to work on your anatomy… you always pretend to practise and learn… but in the past 2 years you seem to have evolved back. -..-
What happened to the “epic” backgrounds and cool compositions?
Here are two examples of your better artworks:

Yeah, I'm a bit lazy to put lines, curves and perspective, even drawing/restyling backgrounds from the game.
And you're right about the golden rings, they're wrong in perspective and depth.
Are you really sure that I pretend to practice and learn?
Anyway, about the cool backgrounds, they were great. I hope my newest artwork will be good...and the shading will be that brave.
Thanks for comment, man. ^^

Riptor is awesome raptor, so I want to draw him figting my raptor character King Corus (more likely the same body structure and style :3) Thanks for comment
I hope will get more attention in doing more action poses and fighting stances based on kung fu movies. ^^

That would be tight, some fighting poses that I think are really cool are Capoeira, Muy Tai, and Shotokan karate... I know some Capoeira myself but besides that I know those have very unique poses and moves, try those
and no prob buddy ^_^
