Description
A latest original lizardman/dragon artwork based on the "Birth of the Shivanian Heroes" comic/novel.Thanks to anthro rattlesnake Rax and weredragon Agamid to save Hotara from possessed Skaro who was about to decapitate Hotara's head. To capture Skaro without inflicting him serious injuries, Rax launches from Agamid's neck where he rode by thrust his spring-coiled tail. He wrapped his whole body around the limbs, neck and tail of the latter to restrain from retribution. Agamid uses his "Mind Sleep", one of the Nature Spells, to put Skaro into deep slumber.
The burning village was extinguished when Agamid casted "Windblow", the Wind Spell, and he controlled the nature with his "Nature Restoration" to return the growth of dead, burnt plants and trees.
Now, about this artwork...in the cold, tranquil morning, After he healed the wounds of two brothers, Agamid gathers the rooftop Tower of Corus, the old, tall structure where King Corus's artifacts, information and ornaments are kept. It is built before the steep cliff, that meets the vast ocean, located at right side of Shivanian Fortress. With his two companions Ki'trak and Hotara to assist his job, he tells the two to lock him in chains on the stony bed at very center. As Skaro wakes up, his red eyes flashed in anger, he infuriates and forces himself to break free, but the steel chains prevent him from being released.
In a deep concentration through the scent of nature spirits to strengthen his spell, Agamid lifts his hand and immediately ponders for the dispossession of a possessed warrior. His hand glows green brightly, that made Hotara and Ki'trak cover their eyes. He should accomplish the exorcism for the sake of Shivanian Tribe.
But Skaro has a will power to summon demons. To eliminate the green dragon, he uses the infernal powers and controls 20 obsidian gargoyles encircling around the tower walls. Hotara and Ki'trak crashes most of the gargoyles, but few disturbs Agamid's growing presence. After Ki'trak destroys the last of the live statuettes, Agamid uses his strength to impact the full-powered hands of redemption on Skaro's body. This collision creates a violent blow, that suddenly pushes Ki'trak off the tower, but saved by Hotara with a quick grab. The result becomes successful as thick fumes of ectoplasm flowe out of the Skaro's mouth. Skaro collapses on the bed and wakes up after a minute. His red eyes return to yellow and his emotion calms.
Hotara gracefully thanks Agamid for saving his brother from demonic possession without a pain from inside. Completely recovered, Skaro cannot remember everything before he was captured and tranced by Master Grakkon in the abandoned fort.
What will happen to Skaro after that when King Corus and the council are very angry about him?

Hello:
Β Is this also a scene from your story? It sure looks like your characters can go into quite some messes .

Yes, Skaro gets released from chaotic control by their enemy tribe
Later they will have to go and retaliate.
Not pretty sure since I'm in commission work, but I won't ever stop working on the stories of Skaro, Hotara and Agamid

Hello:
Β I was online in the neighborhood, yay!.
Β It is good to know that Skaro was saved from that control, mind-control is a plot idea that always makes me nervous, hehehe.
Β Good luck with your commissions, I know you'll do great . And I am glad you are not going to stop working in your own stories. I try to do that myself too

Nice that lizard, no human chained (right that its humanoid lizard, not lizard-man?)

There is so many dragon artwork here on DA. It'll probably take years for me to see all of them with my current work schedule. But after seeing how detailed your dragon is, I can stop and bask in all of its glory. If only I can put such details in my dragon emoticons.

That is a great story to go along with this excellently rendered picture. What emotion and drama we have here before us. I'm so glad that they saved Skara though!
