Description
A new dragon/lizardman artwork based on "Birth of the Shivanian Heroes" comic/novel.It illustrates weredragon Agamid and Hotara sitting on the belly. (D'aaaaaawwww ^..^!)
Both of them watching an anthro-chameleon druid, named "Ki'trak", catching a favourite food, moth, using his tongue resembling to real chameleons. (Isn't it funny about lengthy tongues?
Ki'trak's race is called "Kami'kalian" and they are now joined with Shivanian Tribe. They have magical abilities of invisibility and climbing strength. Most of them are druids whenever they depend on Nature element and the beauty of environment (Their homeland is that background, the sacred forest containing fireflies depend on nature spirit. Their house is an enormous mushroom.)
They love nature as much as Agamid. ^^
Ki'trak, one of the greater druids, have been teaching lizardman Agamid for months. He is very impressed to see dragon Agamid with many natural spells with wind spells append.

Did i ever told you, how much i admire you for your background skills? No? Well, now you know it!
The Kami'kalian are a pretty interesting species, and must be also very good spies or assassines with their invisibility skills.

Yay, thank you, Arki!! I appreciate your touching comment ^..^
I know you said it on your Zack picture
Thanks about Kami'kalians who are bug-eating invisible allies of Shivanian tribe As druids, they can also use magic of nature in such ways ^^

I really like these fellows. They all appear to be having a very good time enjoying each other's company. The lightning bugs are rendered wonderfully and give this piece a really cool lighting effect. The chameleon anthros are also amazing. I don't think I've ever seen them rendered so believably as you do here.
Great work!

ItΒ΄s the first time that I saw an anthro kameleon. Very impressive, the night envirotment looks peaceful, and thuse bugs iluminating the night looks good for the envirotment.
Just a little detail here, when I saw Hotara, I though that he didnΒ΄t had arms, but you show us that itΒ΄s behind AgamidΒ΄s arm. And the KiΒ΄trakΒ΄s staff has some blue or green light, on KiΒ΄trakΒ΄s shading, the bright part has to be of the staffΒ΄s color if itΒ΄s close of him.
thatΒ΄s all I have to say, the rest looks great Kevin ^ ^

About Hotara's left arm...I like him sitting with his best friend Agamid with his arms rest on the dragon body. (so touching) ^^ But, okay, I agree what you said. His right hand could have point at Ki'trak's tongue. XD
Well, Ki'trak's staff and its light is cloaked, too, and light may be dimmer than usual which you can see another chameleon do.
Btw, thanks for the comment, Aldo I appreciate it.

YouΒ΄re welcome. Ok if you did HotaraΒ΄s arm as a part of your plan then itΒ΄s ok. And well, even the minimus light has something to bright, and more if itΒ΄s close to a body.

You achieve quite a lot of amazing things in this. The lighting, textures, and lizard turning transparent all are great effects. I think the background could be a bit darker, though. The hazy light is cool but a little less of it would be better in my opinion.

Oooh, the background...XP maybe because fireflies lightened the area.
Okay, I'll lessen the brightness of background.
