Silver eyes narrowed to squint through the bright light, ears pulling forward as light paws trekked through the snow. It had been a few weeks, nearing a month since Ceres turned up at the Howahkan borders. She had been missing for not the day or so she had originally thought -no, she was gone for months. A couple. Time that she no longer possessed and memories that yet remained repressed. She knew enough. Her father, Kyrel, somehow managed to lure her away from her friends den in the dead of night and away from her home and family. He force fed her sedatives, at first hiding it in her food and soon he no longer had to force it. This was how things remained until she awakened.

Then Lyall answered her calls of distress, remembered that night very clearly. The fear, the anger, confusion.. all these emotions giving her what she needed to escape and return.

Tired eyes moved to the bright golden sky above. The wind rushed by her, dancing through her fur in a refreshing sort of way. Drawing in a deep breath, Ceres would close her eyes upon the release. "It's time to move on and start anew.. Keep me close, you two.."

Ceres is back home where she belongs and has chosen to finally move on from her family troubles.
"Bad things do happen; how I respond to them defines my character and the quality of my life. I can choose to sit in perpetual sadness, immobilized by the gravity of my loss, or I can choose to rise from the pain and treasure the most precious gift I have - life itself."
