Description
Which is the true beast? The one who acts like it, or the one who looks like it?
I always loved the realtionship between characters in "X-men" as well as the characters themselves.
Wolvie doesn't understand how Beast can be so human, and Hank comes to realize the wonder that Logan is more animal than human.
Meanwhile, my sister loves this image because she studies anthropology (amungst numerous things like, cognitive development, child psychology, and even some neuro science), and by her, she has never seen an "anthropologicaly correct" beast... but since i started listening (and testing her) on her material, some of the stuff got to me and i made one that would "fit"... and she says it's the most accurate one ever... and i wouldn't argue with her, 'cause she can prove it and she's evil.
I love you sis!

This is an awsome rendering of the two. I'm a long time Wolverine fan , I do like beast. But t, thuth be known, between the two, Logan is much more a "beast " than Hank! lol

So cool, beast is one of the best X-men characters, a noble and intelligent man trapped into a beastΒ΄s body.
Your drawing is marvelous, i it! ItΒ΄s the 1st time i see such a "accurate" beast (hope that the movie beast will look like that!), tough i always wandered how did he got blue fur

I always loved Beast... you see this big blue thing.. and then he says something in this educated voice.. of course, I only know him from the original animated series, never read the comics or saw any of this new stuff.
This is a very nice portrayal of him...

Yeah I agree with the sister in that this beast depiction is definetly more realistic then the ones we usually see. I suppose they make it less realistic in the comics and the cartoons simply cause I figure it's easier to draw and associate with a more human look then a gorilla look.
As for who's the most beastly I'd have to say wolverine on a very controlled level. Beast looks like a beast but is apparently a very educated from what I know of him.
That villian guy with yellow hair (gee, my ablity to remember x-men character names really sucks) is by far more beastly then either of them since he looks and acts like a beast.
But yeah, drawing that must of been a huge hassle posing wise. Drawing the legs shorter then the arms is entirely opposite from drawing human figures. Positioning the head must of also been really hard. I've been reading a bit on how to pose characters but its tough.
Great work as usual. Really great looking characters.

Superb coloring on the blue fur!!
Dude, I had never stopped to think about that: "Which is the true beast?
The one who acts like it, or the one who looks like it?" Excellent point! Damn, you made me think. *brain cells scream and die*
Sexy Wolverine! *latches onto him*
