Description

The Princess of Hyrule, Princess Zelda was alone, travelling on her own to get to a fairy fountain. She was looking for Cotera, one of the great fairies because Zelda had a wish she needed granted. The second great calamity had just passed thanks to Link, the Hero of the Wild, saving the day. But Zelda had more on her mind than thinking about Link's Heroism. She thought about how much Link had been through for Hyrule and for her. Link was Zelda's knight. He served to protect her, but Zelda could only think about how she could protect him in return.

Princess Zelda finally arrived at the fairy fountain she was looking for. After a very long talk with Cotera and some rupees handed over, Zelda was able to make her wish to the Great Fairy. Princess Zelda was not sure how she wanted her wish to go. Or how she would even explain what she was desiring. All Zelda wanted was for Link to feel as safe and protected as he made her feel.

Zelda was trying to find the right words to describe her wish but thought that keeping it simple would be the best choice. After Zelda stood in silence deep in thought for what felt like hours, she finally told Cotera her wish. "I wish to keep Link safe" spoke Zelda. She did not know what expect from her wish, she could only hope the Great Fairy would grant it in the best way possible. As Zelda stood before the Great Fairy, Cotera laughed and told her that her wish was granted.

Zelda was about to say thank you when she was cut off and her vision had looked like it went dark. As Zelda tried to open her eyes, she noticed there was no ground beneath her, she was floating. Zelda tried to open her eyes up again only to realise she was in a black void. She called for the great fairy, wondering what was going on, but she got no response. As she continued to look around the vast empty black void, she spotted three golden triangles stacked into a triangle themselves. It was the Triforce.

As Zelda drifted closer, she saw the bottom left and bottom right triangles break away and begin to move. The left triangle moving to the right, and the right triangle moving to the left. Zelda had never seen anything like this before. She continued to drift closer to the Triforce as she stared intently at the event unfolding. Before Zelda could reach it, the two triangles switched positions before locking into place once more. After the triforce rearranged itself, Zelda felt herself falling unconscious. She tried to stay awake but she was unable to. She was being pulled out of whatever void she had fallen into.

The Wish granter awoke, rubbing their eyes and looking at their surroundings. "Why am I at a fairy fountain?" The wish granter thought to herself confused. That was when The Princess of Hyrule, Princess Linka ran up. Wanting to make sure her knight, Zeld, was okay. He had ran off earlier before Princess Linka noticed, and she spent the whole day searching for him. Zeld nodded his head, reassuring Princess Linka that he was okay as he gestured an apology to her. It was then Zeld noticed the sun was setting. Monsters would be out very soon. The Hero of the Wild, Zeld gestured Princess Linka to follow him as he began to unsheathe his sword. Like every time before, he planned to keep Linka protected. After all, all he wants to keep Linka safe.

This was a very different story than I am used to doing. I wanted to do something not in of my comfort zone with a M2F Life Swap and this idea was an interesting idea to me. I did not find a way to include this into the story. But Link, or Princess Linka actually, is the one who has the Triforce of Wisdom now while the Hero, Zeld is the one with the Triforce of Courage. I would be very delighted to hear feedback on this story as this is my first time doing a story with a swap like this.
