Ok I actually started on this sometime last year.. back in the time when I used the gradiants in photoshop for blending and whatnot.I decided to stop and figure out how to use photoshop better for my art, and I decided the other day it was time I finished this before I went insane! 8D
This is a scene I've drawn from the game "The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask" where a Skull Child who is wearing Majora's Mask, a mask with great evil inside is using a foul power to cause the Moon to fall.. and yes the Moon has a creepy scary expression!
Get's freaky when the mask itself discards the Skull Child (the mask says "A puppet which has no use is mere garbage".. well close enough) and then floats up inside the Moon's huge gaping mouth.
The eyes glow and the words are uttered: "I shall consume... consume... consume everything..."
This all happens after the four Guardians of Termina (the land you are in) are summoned by the Oath to Order, and they successfully stop the Moon from wiping out all life.. however once the Mask takes control of the Moon (or so I believe it goes) the Giants struggle to hold the Moon back.
And btw the Guardians look nothing like ponies.. I just decided to "ponify" them! XD
So what do you all think?

This is really awesome! Even though this pre-date's Friendship is Magic, they kinda resemble how they're designed in G4.

...I don't think Twilight Princess Hyrule Field Theme matches the event happening in the picture, though... you sure you just aren't saying the Hyrule Field theme would fit only because that theme is kick-ass awesome?

I even began writing a pony fiction, original characters, original setting, original everything apart from the fact it was MLP~

I have played the game 37 times AND beaten it 3 times, with the last one time beating the game was when I had the Fierce Deity's Mask...and yes I have been counting. I almost have all the Pieces of Heart in the game thanks to me finding a walkthrough for the moon mini dungeons online.

Ah okies... I haven't played it as many times as you (I'm guessing you mean starting a new game 37 times?), but I have beaten the game... well okay, I haven't kept track exactly, I don't tend to do that with all my Zelda games, or any of my games, haha.. 
I tend to find the Goron mini dungeon to be probably the most challenging of the Moon Dungeons, although I have had LOTS of practice at it, so it's not really difficult anymore.
Lol the first time I tried defending the Ranch I freaked out - but it's actually quite easy once you find the right spot.

Haha... I got to the second trial and stopped playing for a while... to be honest, the trials freaked me out.
Imagine the feeling of missing one of the tears with four or five of those reaper guardians chasing you, surrounding you, swiping at you, and you miraculously are not hit by any of them as you circle around in attempt to collect that tear?
I must have pulled the most EPIC save in the entire world out of that one, but instead of celebrating, I had to tend to my poor, stressed heart, which was going at a million kilometres a second... <<;;;;

I can only get 5-6 tears of Nayru without almost running out of time at the ONLY waking water spring while hearing the eery screech and the moment I hear that noise, I reset the game back to the point where I saved right before going into the 2nd trial right outside the Lanayru Mining Facility.

Those things are just SCARY.
You have to time it right... take shortcuts if you can find them as well, like needing to jump off a wall.
I ran out of time a number of times there - it is still winnable if you do, as long as you can nab a tear before being hit.
If you reset, you never know what you are capable of, I never reset the game when I run out of time - because you still have the chance of dodging the attacks (which I somehow did that time, don't ask me how), and getting a tear.
...so are we talking about the tear that is up in the air, and you have to pull the cart out from the waking water that keeps advancing and receding?

Yeeeah... actually there are currently only two pieces of MLP art in my gallery that have some relevance (in style) to the latest MLP craze.. all others are actually pre-FiM.
I have pony art going since 2006... haha... and most of them are between 2006 and 2010...

So yes, sad as it is, I've been a fan of MLP longer than the craze has been around... haha...
But I do think it's awesome that they made it in such a way that so many people love it... before everyone would say how it's a girl's thing only, for little girls and all that, but I'm glad that guys like it now too, because I don't really like stereotyping..

Hmm.. interesting concept, sounds kinda stupid though... the Celestia part fits because she is a princess and Legend of Zelda is named AFTER the princess, not Link, so that's pretty dark spot on...
