Strange to me is that in the game the beam is supposed to be spread in all directions when it's in MAX level before reverting back to a straight beam until it's depleted... unless I didn't know that this Black Fly has its unique beam attack.
Anyhow, gotta love the animation, especially when the ship is about to shoot the beam. It feels as if the game just skipped the first bonus stage and head straight to the second level.
