spectacular...the sharpness and high contrast are just great..
..and just an anal detail, but it feels like the open part of the shirt (which I like) where the skin is exposed, should be the same fleshy color / hue as the face? and not quite so pale? easily done in photoshop..
anyway..I really enjoy this. totally looks like a still frame taken from the matrix..

It's the light reflecting off her chest, and her chest does not have freckles, her fac is coevred in them.

ah ok, well at this resolution you can't really notice the freckles anyway..I still think it would look better if the hue matched the hue of her face (regardless of technical reasons)..
either way though, it is a great capture..totally inspiring for anyone into modern photography..!

yeah, i dont like to alter photos to that extent, stick to things _I_ can do in a darkroom, understadnw hat you are saying though. I'm glad you like it. ;]

as long as everyone is saying what it makes them think of (matrix, bah i say) to me it looks as if a kidnap victim (possibly taken from a trendy nightclub) was placed in a sewer tunnel and told to find her way home, and so she's just standing there, getting her bearings wondering what the hell she's going to do.
wonderful compostion, love the leading lines of the cieling and light on the walls. her expression is really interesting, it could be that she's frustrated, scared...
the dark greens and blues really work, this is very very good.

Love the shot, but I'll echo a few of the other comments, it would've been nice to see a bit more of her outline to break her from the background a bit more.

Sexy. It says submission and sex to me.
In response to the previous comment, I kind of like how her blackness blends into the black background. Gives it an edge. A bit of mystery. Where does her body end? The darkness is swallowing her up, dominating her.
The lighting is just damn cool, the way the light triangles out on either side of her. I also like the sliver of light at the top, defining her head.
I always have to find something to gripe about, so here it is: I think it's fairly safe to say that you were trying for symmetry here, and if she was standing maybe 1 cm or less to the right, it would just be perfect, brilliant, amazing, splendid, muah.
(As you can probably tell, my pickiness is why I very rarely favourite a work!

if you took the lighting off her hands it'd look as if they were maybe tied behind her back... like a prisoner or something... like... bondage... lol
