Laughter rang through the meadows, footsteps heard pounding on the earth, a delightful sound of a high feminine giggle rose and fell with a crescendo. "Put me down!" came the squeal, a chuckle sounding from a masculine figure, "Not until you tell me you love me."

"Alright! I love you, I love you!" came the giggled response and the young man finally released her from his arms.

They were a stark contrast, her pale white skin and his dark tanned skin, her black hair and his own were the only things that matched. She being a Lunarian princess, he an Earth prince, they shouldn't even be here together. Much less in the same breathing space. This was so forbidden, if they were caught, they would be banished from ever seeing one another again, they couldn't have that.

Standing before her, he held her hand, "I want to show you something," there was seriousness in his voice after the play, tugging her forward, he walked her to the bank, "I want to show you what I have planned for us." grand plans, lovely plans.

"What are they, Jayce?" she asked, her hand on his arm as he kneeled, she did as well, the dress pooling on the ground as she looked up into his handsome face.

Tracing on the ground with a stick in the riverbank, he drew the castle. "This is what I'm going to make for us. I'm going to make a grand castle, so big that you'll be able to have all your family come and stay in it and it won't even fill it up." pointing to one of the turrets, "This will be where we are, the biggest room in the castle, besides the great hall. It will be beautiful, with all the fruits that you love."

Stunned into silence, she listened to his proposal, his grand idea, and she bit her lip, worried, "But we cannot, we would be severly punished because we can't be together." whispered words and a crack of her voice, a tear rolled down her cheek. Feeling his arm slide around her, he wiped her tear and kissed her cheek.

"I will make it all better, we will live together freely without the fear of being killed, I will make it so we're not forbidden to love."

"How?" her small voice questioned of him, looking into his eyes.

"When I become king, I will make a decree and we shall be free from the oppresion."

A big smile broke across her face, "Really?!" she asked, clasping her hands together while her green eyes twinkled in delight.

The smile on his face grew at her own excitement, "Really." he got her arms thrown around him and he nearly fell over into the river, stabalizing himself with a hand pressed into the mud, he laughed as he straightened the best he could.

"You promise?" she pouted as she pulled back, her arms loose around his neck as she gazed at him. Looking like an adorable little puppy, he smiled back at her.

"I promise."
